Terms of use
These terms are an agreement between you and Exercise Studio ("we", "us") for your use of Exercise Studio. By creating an account or using Exercise Studio, you agree to them. If you use Exercise Studio for a practice or company, you agree on its behalf.
Who can use Exercise Studio
Exercise Studio is for licensed clinicians and their staff in the United States. You must give accurate details, keep your password private and tell us if you think your account has been misused.
Your recordings and consent
- Only record therapists or staff who have agreed to be filmed. Do not upload recordings that show patients, or any patient information, including faces, names, charts or screens in the background.
- If you add a photo of someone's face, you must have that person's permission to use it in exercise videos.
- You keep ownership of what you upload. You give us permission to store, process and edit it, and to send it to the services listed in our Privacy Policy, only to provide Exercise Studio to you.
AI-generated videos and instructions
Exercise Studio uses AI to edit your recording and, if you ask, to draft spoken instructions. AI can make mistakes: a video may not match your movement exactly, and a draft may describe something that isn't in your clip. Generated content is not clinically reviewed by us.
You are responsible for checking every video and every word of narration before sharing it with patients, and for deciding whether an exercise is suitable for each patient.
Not medical advice
Exercise Studio is a tool for clinicians. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis or treatment, and it doesn't replace your professional judgement. Patients should follow their clinician's guidance and stop and contact their clinician if something hurts.
Sharing with patients
Anyone with a program link can open it, so share links only with the intended patient. Don't put a patient's full name or other identifying details in a link nickname. You can turn off or delete links at any time.
Acceptable use
Don't misuse Exercise Studio: no unlawful, harmful or misleading content; no attempts to break, overload or get around limits of the service; and no access to other people's accounts or data.
Fees
Exercise Studio is currently free to use. If we introduce paid plans, we'll tell you before anything is charged, and you can choose whether to continue.
Changes and ending use
We may change or stop features, and we may update these terms; we'll update the date at the top and tell you about significant changes. You can stop using Exercise Studio and delete your account at any time. We may suspend accounts that break these terms or put the service or others at risk.
Disclaimers and liability
Exercise Studio is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for Exercise Studio in the 12 months before the claim, or $100 if you paid nothing.
